Augustinas Eidukonis was born in 1995 in Vilnius, Lithuania. He has been learning at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts since 2002, in the professor Vida – Emilija Prekerytė’s class. In 2014, he was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London (United Kingdom) and the Luebeck Academy of Music (Germany) for Bachelor of Music course in Piano. Now he is studying in the Luebeck Academy of Music with prof. Konrad Elser. For the Academic Year 2017/18 he is studying by the Erasmus+ program in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with prof. Willem Brons.

Augustinas plays solo recitals and also participates in concerts as a member of various chamber ensembles.


From September 2016, he is the “Ad Infinitum” foundation scholarship holder. In 2017, Augustinas won the IInd prize in the XIth International Lagny-sur-Marne Piano Competition in France. In the same year, he won the award “Steinway Förderpreis Klassik 2017” founded by Steinway&Sons Hamburg. In 2013, he became a semifinalist in the IIIrd International Rosalyn Tureck J. S. Bach Competition for Young Pianists (New York, USA). In 2015, Augustinas participated in the semifinal of the International Competition ”A Step towards Mastery” in St. Petersburg, Russia. In 2014, he participated in the 2nd M. K. Čiurlionis’s Piano Music Festival” in Palanga, Lithuania. He also participated in a project by Lithuanian Government “Students - to Government” and had one practice week in the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture.
